God will not just meet needs but will return to us abundantly, richly and bountifully as our focus is on giving and sacrificing rather than accumulating. We are responsible for securing funding to cover the costs of salaries and ministry expenses according to a compensation philosophy that keeps us focused on helping fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit. Having as our highest goal to be pleasing and glorifying to God, we desire for our support structure to keep focused on the cause of Christ and free from financial distractions, a need-based structure promoting a moderate lifestyle, a commitment to care for our own, and carefully planned stewardship. 1 Corinthians 4:2, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, Hebrews 11:6, Proverbs 30:8-9, Galatians 6:2,10
We take seriously the responsibility to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to our care. Each outreach of the ministry has specific objectives, programs, schedules and budgets. We see careful planning as an important part of good stewardship. Our home is used extensively for public relations and ministry events as well as serving as our residence. We direct all honorariums and royalties to International Ambassadors for Christ. When we travel to speak or attend meetings at churches and various conferences our expenses are covered either by the inviting group or ourselves.
We desire to be totally transparent in all aspects of finances. Our ministry expenses are regularly reviewed by an independent, certified public accounting firm in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. We maintain internal controls designed to provide reasonable assurance that assets are safeguarded from loss or unauthorized use, and that transactions are executed in accordance and in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles, and recorded properly to permit the preparation of clear and accurate financial statements at the end of the year.
