Heavenly Father, I praise and worship You for Your great glory and majesty. Thank You for the children You have blessed us with. You are an awesome God. You reign from heaven above with wisdom, power and love. I pray for our children, their families, all generations and all our extended family. I pray as their father and stepfather with the authority You have given me as the head of the household. I ask the Holy Spirit to soften their hearts towards Jesus and tear the veil of deceit and lies of the evil one from their hearts and break the chains he has on them.
I pray for Your divine angelic safety and protection to cover our families. I pray Your words from scripture, Isaiah 44:3, “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” Holy Spirit reveal Yourself to them and flood their hearts with a desire to surrender their lives to You and have a life changing encounter with the Savior. Holy Spirit burn Your fire in our children, their families, all generations and our extended family with Your wisdom, discernment, guidance and direction. Turn us away from our worldly culture and truly follow You.
Lead them to a true and lasting spiritual awakening, repentance, Your Amazing Grace, revival, mercy, restoration and a desire to fall deeply in love with You. For those of us that know You, I ask that we seek a deeper relationship with You. Holy Spirit stand guard over us, help us hear, understand, speak and act on the wisdom of Your discerning voice and lead us all home.
Heavenly Father, bind the evil one, break the chains he has on all of us and put him behind us. Wipe the scales from our eyes so we will know Your truth and not be deceived. Post Your angel army around us with impeccable protection and wash us in the blood of the Lamb and dress us in the armor of God (Ephesians 6: 14-17).
We surrender this day to You. We can’t live without You. May our lives glorify You today. I lift these prayers up to You in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Savior and King. Amen
